Q: What is my Perceptive Content/ImageNow/Perceptive Experience login name and password?

A: ImageNow login is authenticated with StarID. Use your StarID login name and password to log in to ImageNow.

Q: How often do I need to reset my password?

A: ImageNow password is automatically reset and authenticated with your StarID password.

 

Q: How do I create a new user account?

A: Departments should utilize the Employee Readiness Form for new hires (i.e. indicate on form that an ImageNow account should be created). Existing employees may request ImageNow accounts through the Normandale IT Help Desk. All IN account requests need to be assigned to Svitlana Melnichuk for processing.

 

Q: ImageNow user entered LoginName and password but it’s hanging for a long time.

Hint: This problem happening on multiple user computers.

Troubleshooting: Can be solved by Help Desk staff - go to C:\ProgramData\ImageNow\etc\ folder and delete the intkinfo.dat file

 

Q: ImageNow printer not working.

Troubleshooting: 1. Log off from ImageNow and restart computer. If problem still existing, follow with next step - 2. Assign request to Svitlana – need to re-install ImageNow printer.

 

Q: ImageNow scanner not responding.

Troubleshooting: Please follow exact order of procedures to fix this problem: turn off scanner, log of from computer, turn on scanner, log in to computer - powering up the scanner and scanning computer in this order will ensure the scanner drivers are recognized by the computer.

 

Q: ImageNow timing out.

A: ImageNow/Perceptive Content Client was set to 90 minutes to follow MinnState security guidelines, same as ISRS timeout.
