Installing Adobe software on your office computer (Faculty and Staff)

Please follow the instructions steps #1-10 below to install the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Apps on your Normandale-issued Windows computer.  Please scroll to the bottom of this article for instructions on installing Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Apps on your Normandale-issued MAC computer and/or your Personal Device.

Please Note:  If you have a current active Adobe Creative Cloud account (such as YourName@normandale.edu , or otherwise, a personal Adobe ID), and already have Adobe Creative Cloud Apps installed, please “Sign Out” of that account first, before attempting to enroll in your new  StarID@Minnstate.edu Adobe Enterprise ID account.

a) open Adobe Acrobat DC (or any Adobe Creative Cloud app, such as Photoshop, etc.)
b) click on the turquoise button in upper right corner and Sign Out
c) Close Adobe Acrobat DC, then re-open, and 
d) log in with your new Adobe Enterprise ID instead:  StarID@minnstate.edu  and StarID password
e) on the Adobe “Select an Account”, Sign In page, Select “Company…”, then “Company…” again. 

Faculty and staff can install Adobe CC software on their Windows computer. This includes Acrobat, Photoshop, Lightroom, and more. Faculty and staff with a Mac computer will need to submit a request to have the software installed manually.

Important! In order to install and use Adobe CC software, faculty and staff will need a Normandale-issued Adobe Enterprise ID. If you do not have one or are not sure, please submit a request for an Adobe ID. Please only request an Adobe ID if you need to use Adobe software. We have a limited number of Adobe software licenses.

Installation Steps for Windows OS computers:

To install Adobe CC Software on your Windows computer, please follow the steps below:

1. Open the Software Center
   1. Click on the Start icon in the low left corner of your screen
   2. Type "Software Center"
   3. Click on the Software Center icon
2. Click on Adobe CC Faculty and Staff package
3. 
4. Click on Install 

   If the button says Uninstall, skip this step and go to #5.

5. Click on the Adobe Creative Cloud icon on your desktop or in your Start menu.
   
6. Enter your {STARID}@minnstate.edu and StarID password.
   
7. Then, enter your StarID password.
   
8. You may be redirected before you can enter in your password. Please select Enterprise ID.
9. A new window will pop up. Please enter in your {STARID}@minnstate.edu  and StarID password.
10. Select the software application you are interested in and click Install
    
     
11. Click Continue to begin the installation
    
12. Once the software application has installed you can begin using it.

Install Instructions for MAC (Apple computers) and/or your Personal Computer:
