How can I access my OneDrive and create Folders and Files?

You can access your OneDrive by using a browser or using the OneDrive application on your computer.

You will need your Microsoft 365 username and password.

Access OneDrive using a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)

OPTION 1:

  1. Go to https://www.normandale.edu/
  2. From the "Login" menu in the upper-right corner, select "Microsoft 365"
    login > microsoft 365
  3. Enter your Microsoft credentials:
    1.  Students:   Enter [YourStarID]@go.minnstate.edu,  and then your StarID password
    2. Employees: Enter [YourStarID]@minnstate.edu, and then your StarID password

OPTION 2:

  1. Go to  office.com and Sign In:
    1. Students:   Enter [YourStarID]@go.minnstate.edu,  and then your StarID password
    2. Employees: Enter [YourStarID]@minnstate.edu, and then your StarID password
  2. Click on the OneDrive icon (blue icon on bottom left side) and launch OneDrive app

AND/OR: Install the OneDrive application onto your computer

  1. Download the OneDrive app to your computer
  2. Login using your Microsoft credentials
    1.  Students:   Enter [YourStarID]@go.minnstate.edu,  and then your StarID password
    2. Employees: Enter [YourStarID]@minnstate.edu, and then your StarID password

Create Folders to organize your files

In OneDrive, select Add New > Folder

 

Name your folder as desired - for example - with the name of your course

 

Select Add New to upload or create files
