Using Cengage links in D2L?

The Cengage integration within D2L Brightspace has been upgraded from its previous version (known as LTI 1.1) to the new version (known as LTI 1.3.)  Both versions are working within D2L as of now, however, only the LTI 1.3 version will work as of January 2024.

During the remainder of 2023, instructors can update to 1.3 links for Summer and Fall 2023 courses OR continue to use the current Cengage 1.1 integration for Summer and Fall 2023 courses 

At the end of 2023, the legacy 1.1 integration will be removed from D2L and instructors will need to update their Cengage links to 1.3 for their Spring 2024 courses and future courses by following the directions on the attached document.  

Cengage will email instructors about the update if they are currently using Cengage.

The LTI 1.3 version can be found in the "Existing Activities" menu of a D2L module:
