MATLAB Available for Students and Faculty

Normandale Community College provides a license to applicable students in Engineering, Math, and Physics courses. Your instructor will request this access for you and let you know if you need to use it for your class. Faculty can also request access for themselves.

What is MATLAB?

MATLAB and Simulink are mathematical programming software for computing. They provide a variety of tools to help with coursework and academic research. Normandale Community College offers a limited set of licenses to students and faculty for free. Use this software on campus computers, install it directly on your personal computer, or use it online.

How do I get MATLAB?

Faculty, please submit a request online for access to MATLAB. Students, please talk to your instructor to obtain access. 

Once you get your welcome email, you can use MATLAB Online or download and install MATLAB on your computer.
