Can't Reset Email Password

When you log into your email, you will use your StarID@minnstate.edu and your StarID password to log in. However, sometimes it doesn't work or you don't remember your password. 

If you click the "Forgot my password" link in email, you will get a page with the error: We're sorry. You can't reset your own password because password writeback .. isn't turned on for your organization."

The solution is to Reset your Password by going to StarID Self Service and selecting Reset Password. More information can be found at How to Change Your StarID Password.

More information: here is what the email login screen looks like. You cannot choose Forgot my password and instead should go to StarID Self Service to reset your email/StarID password.
