Repeating a course for a better grade

You can choose to repeat a class to meet academic requirements, to improve your GPA or to refresh your knowledge of the subject material.  Financial aid will not pay for the same class more than twice, and PSEO students cannot repeat a course for which a passing grade has already been earned.  When you repeat a course, your GPA is recalculated at the end of each term by the Records Office.  Both the original and the repeated grades remain on your transcripts, but only the highest grade will be calculated in your GPA.
