Off-Campus Access for Faculty and Staff

You have many options when working off campus.  To quickly check your email, you can use a web browser.  If you want to access software and network drives (like your HOME or iNET drives) you can link to the Normandale Access Page.

1. Open a web browser to the Normandale home page (www.normandale.edu)
2. Select Faculty/Staff, then Access Outlook Email
   *This will redirect you to the blue Outlook Web Access login page (https://mail.normandale.edu/owa/)
3. Enter your username and password (either your StarID or your full email address)
4. Click the Sign In button

2. Select Faculty/Staff, then Access Files From Off Campus
   *This will redirect you to the Secure Access Service login page (https://access.normandale.edu)
3. Enter your StarID and password.
4. Click the Sign In button

• At any time, you can select the HOME icon(top right) to get back to this startup page.
• Select to connect to the application or file access you need:
  • Terminal Sessions:
    • Select NCCApps to access the application server. This allows you to access a Normandale server that is installed with basic applications (like Microsoft Office, etc). You will have access to all your network drives. you can also print to your local printer while using this connection.
    • When done, click the START buttong, select the arrow next to the LOCK icon, then LOG OFF.
    • If you have access to other Terminal Servers, they will be listed.
  • Web Bookmarks
    • Use this area to easily access the Employee Portal or Outlook Web Mail.
  • Files
    • This give you access to networked drives, including your Home (H:) drive and the iNet drive.
• When you are done, select the SIGN OUT button located at the top right of the page.
