You may have multiple email addresses associated with your StarID account, including a personal email address, a Normandale email address, and email addresses for other Minnesota State institutions. However, only one of these email addresses will be used to notify you if your password is about to expire. That email address is known as your StarID Notification Email Address or your preferred email address.
Please set your preferred or StarID Notification Email Address to the email address you check most frequently. To set your preferred email address, please go to StarID Self Service and click Sign In to Profile.
Please note that your preferred email address can be set to your personal email address. You also have a Office 365 primary email, which is the default (FROM:) email address that you will use in Office 365. This can only be set to one of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities email addresses.
